Take Action to End Wars of Aggression!

You can help build the bloc of peace voters and make this a movement that the politicians can no longer ignore. We need coordinated action by voters to oppose the illegal occupation of Iraq and prevent future wars of aggression. Please take just one of the following actions using your voice, your vote, or your dollars to build peace in your district:

  • SIGN THE VOTERSFORPEACE PLEDGE
Take a clear stand and let politicians know they cannot take your vote for granted but instead have to earn your vote by standing and working for peace.

  • BE A PEACEMAKER!
Commit to gathering 100 additional VotersForPeace Pledges!
  • HOST A CANCELLED CHECK PARTY
Guests send voided checks to war candidates saying, “No” to War Candidates! Double the party as a film screening or potluck to bring in more participants!
  • CONTACT YOUR MEMBER OF CONGRESS
  • Schedule a meeting or write a letter to your Congressperson about your commitment as a peace voter. Send your legislator a note encouraging them to support HR 4232: McGovern bill to cut off all funds for the occupation.

  • MAKE A DONATION TO VOTERSFORPEACE
Let your candidate know that you contributed to a peace organization in lieu of a campaign contribution!
  • SEND A LETTER TO THE MEDIA
Respond to misinformed articles about the war and spread the word about VotersForPeace, working to organize and make visible the growing Peace Vote.

  • Sign the Petition: NO WAR OF AGGRESSION ON IRAN
Demand that the leaders of the Democratic Party (all of whom supported the invasion of Iraq, refused to bring home the troops, and instigated for sanctions against Iran) step in line with the majority of Democratic voters and oppose unprovoked aggression against Iran.
