Stop sale of naming rights to Chicago's "L"

Consultants to the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) recently recommended that the agency seek corporate sponsorships of train stations or entire rail routes.

The CTA is a public entity. Our trains and train stations are public spaces. They are funded by riders and taxpayers.

The "L" should not be a means to assault riders with endless commercials.

Tell Carole L. Brown, CTA chairman, to stop the sale of naming rights our trains and rail routes.
