Stop Ad Creep on the Metro!

Metro is now using ad-wrapped cars, including a "McDonald's train."

As if that's not bad enough, they are also planning tunnel ads, TV screens with commercials on some trains, and are contemplating selling naming rights to Metro stations.

The Metro is a public entity and a public space, funded by the riders and local VA, MD and DC governments. It should not be a vehicle to assault riders with endless commercials.

Tell the Metro's board of directors to keep the ad creep out of the Metro.

Your email will be sent to each of the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority's board of directors (Dana Kauffman, Gladys Mack, Charles Deegan, Robert Smith, Chris Zimmerman and Jim Graham).
