Expel Channel One from our schools!

Channel One is a company that delivers two minutes of advertising and ten minutes of "news," banter and fluff to captive audiences of about eight million students in 12,000 schools across the country.

Channel One doesn't belong in the schools because it:

1. Misuses the compulsory attendance laws to force children to watch commercial advertising;
2. Wastes school time;
3. Promotes violent entertainment;

Expelling Channel One from your state's schools is a cost-effective way to increase productive school time -- especially when so many schools are suffering from budget crises.
